"Proofreading" vs. "copyediting" and "line editing": Many of the corrections involved with proofreading or copyediting would be performed by me; however, there are many things a proofreader will be checking for that I would not be. Line editing (more in-depth) comes before copyediting (a separate process), technically, but I include copyediting in my line editing. Proofreading is last. Please be sure to have your manuscript properly and fully proofread by a proofreader as a separate process, so that you can be assured that you are ready for publishing. Note also that developmental editing, which I do not do, should happen before line editing.
Services do not include formatting.
